I guess that Ruby-FFI and JRuby should expose the same behaviour in cases like these. Wayne, should we fire a JIRA ticket?
Definitely file a ticket. Was this a ruby-ffi 0.4.0 capability, or 0.3.x ? And, please add a spec for this case. I'm half-way thru syncing up ruby-ffi struct.rb and JRuby struct.rb, so I'll need something to verify this specific case works.
