I can confirm this on a 64 bit Debian machine (ruby 1.8.7 (2010-08-16 patchlevel 302) [x86_64-linux]). A quick check confirms that this has been broken since deferred callback processing was implemented for ruby 1.8.x (git commit d086824b). Can anyone confirm whether this works on 32-bit linux?
